Overview
The Cheese Bar is a friendly place to come and enjoy our cheese based breakfast and evening menu and selected wines and bottled refreshments.
Notes for Cardholders
We are happy to offer a 10% discount on food and drinks to Hāpai Access Cardholders.

Standing and Queuing

Who likes queuing, but for those who find this an actual problem then we are
happy to come to you to take your order. Just make sure we know that you are there.
Level Access

We have large double doors to allow the guest to enter the building,
you have to enter through the main hotel entrance. If the door is closed we will unfortunately not be able to see you, but hotel staff will be sure to come and open the door for you. We can cater to all sized wheelchairs. The route to the toilets is clear and wide. See the access tour for information on parking.
Distances

There are multiple disabled parks in our carpark where taxis can park if they are available. There is a bus stop directly across the road from the restaurant for the 95 and 29 Bus routes. You can also be dropped
off right outside by taxi. See access tour for more carparking information.
Urgent Toilet Access

There is complete access to toilets including disability friendly toilets. See Access tour for information.
Disability Assist Dogs

We love dogs, and have water bowls available. Registered assistance dogs are welcome inside our store
Essential Companions

Staff will make sure that your support person is well looked after, whether they would like to purchase a meal or not.
Difficulty Accessing Visual Information

We will endeavor to take the time to sit
down and read though the menu with our guests if they have trouble reading it
Difficulty Accessing Audible Information

If you struggle to access audible information, we are happy to spend the time needed for you to understand our drinks and food menu.
Hidden Disabilities

We will ask "I see that you have the 'other needs icon' on your card, what can I do to assist you in having a great time at our restaurant?"
