GameOn Takanini offers the perfect venue for your event, no matter the age OR the weather!! Great games, amazing attractions, fantastic food and a super shop to round it out.

10% off all package pricing. Essential Companions will be eligible for the same discounted offer that Hāpai cardholders receive.
If you would like to hold an event or function, we recommend booking as the party rooms are subject to availability. Booking forms can be found on our website or alternatively you can call us. Bookings for most games and activities, however, are not required. We have Level Access from Derby Square. This is our only entrance.
Standing and Queuing
We have seating and couches available near the counter, as well as throughout the arcade. If necessary, we can also bring you to the front of the queue.
Level Access
Our only entrance is a level surface. There are no difficult raised surfaces throughout the arcade. The bowling area, which is our only raised surface, has easy ramp accessibility. Staff will happily assist anyone who may need extra support or guidance.
Distances
There is accessible parking available in the Derby Square Carpark. The Derby Square Carpark is located directly adjacent and in front of our building. Park in the accessible spaces; there is a 35–40 metre walk to the front entrance of the arcade.
Urgent Toilet Access
There are two unisex accessible toilet facilities directly accessible from within the arcade. No special key is required for access.
Disability Assist Dogs
We comply with the New Zealand law regarding Disability Assist dogs. All registered Disability Assist dogs are permitted entry to the business venue. Accepted proof of registration could be presentation of the visitor's Hāpai Access Card displaying the icon shown above OR presentation of registration documentation plus the dog is dressed wearing its relevant service jacket (coat/vest/harness).
Essential Companions
We have no restrictions on entry to the arcade - there is no entry fee. Essential Companions will be eligible for the same discounted offer that Hāpai cardholders receive.
Difficulty Accessing Visual Information
Our staff will offer to guide the cardholders to a seat or to the toilet and inform the visitor how to seek assistance at our business venue.
Difficulty Accessing Audible Information
The entire arcade has signage, and we have pen and paper at the counter if necessary.
Hidden Disabilities
We have two party rooms that are positioned to the side of the main arcade, which can be used as a quiet space, if necessary, when not in use. We also have a karaoke booth that is soundproofed and can be utilised if not in use. We will ask what we can do to help when we see this icon, but if there is anything else that happens during your experience, please feel free to approach the front desk or arcade staff for further assistance.
