Overview
Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is a world-class thermal complex nestled in the alpine village of Hanmer Springs. Surrounded by mountains and forest, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Soak in naturally heated mineral-rich waters known for their soothing benefits to skin and muscles. With 22 pools of varying temperatures and depths, there’s something for everyone.
We’re proud to support the Hāpai Access Card by offering discounted entry for cardholders. Come and relax, recharge, and enjoy!

Entry Discounts
• Adult (16+): $22.00 (normally $40.00)
• Child (5–15): $12.00 (normally $23.00)
• Under 5s: Free
• Caregiver (as indicated on Hāpai Access Card): Free
Standing and Queuing

An express entry lane is available. Cardholders can bypass the electronic gates and be served directly by a team member.
Level Access

Wheelchairs are available to use in designated areas. Some pools offer beach-style entry, and others have steps (up to 6), all fitted with handrails. The Tea Kiosk Café & Grill is wheelchair accessible. We also offer accessible changing facilities with a toilet, shower, and adult-sized changing bed.

Wheelchairs can be provided for those who may need support moving around.

Urgent Toilet Access

Toilets are located throughout the complex. If you need help locating one quickly, please ask any staff member.

Grassed and garden areas are available, and water bowls can be provided by lifeguards at any water station.

One free caregiver entry is available for those who require support, as noted on their Hāpai Access Card.

Staff are happy to provide verbal assistance. Our team includes blind staff members, so we’re well-versed in supporting different needs.
