Notes for Cardholders
Standing and Queuing
Because of the nature of our activities as a library, no queues form. We have plenty of seating available to ensure you have a comfortable place to sit when needed.
Level Access
The library offers level access, ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors. All doors are automatic.
Distances
Parking is available at the entrances on both Levels 2 and 4 of our Library, providing convenient access from the carpark. We have one wheelchair available for visiting patrons, which can be reserved by giving us a call.
Urgent Toilet Access
We have four Public Toilets:
- Inside back door, opposite lift – Ground Floor
- In our main walkway – Ground Floor
- Beside our Activity Rooms – Ground Floor
- In our Reference / Non-Fiction area – First Floor
Disability Assist Dogs
We comply with the NZ law with respect to Disability Assistance Dogs. The staff will offer you water for your dog and will indicate the nearest place for the dog to relieve itself.
