Overview
The pool complex features a heated lap pool and a separate children’s pool with roll-away PVC shutter walls. The walls are closed in winter to retain warmth and rolled away in summer so visitors can enjoy the sunshine and warmer weather. Take advantage of this facility year-round for all your aqua exercise and recreation needs!

Distances
Please note that the car park for Otumoetai Pool is a short walk from the pool itself. The walk is via a pathway that does undulate in places.

Disability Assist Dogs
We comply with the New Zealand law regarding Disability Assist dogs. All registered Disability Assist dogs are permitted entry to Baywave. Accepted proof of registration could be presentation of the visitor's Hāpai Access Card displaying the icon shown above OR presentation of registration documentation plus the dog is dressed wearing its relevant service jacket (coat/vest/harness).

Our ‘Hapai All Aquatic Facilities’ membership includes free access for an accompanying support person if required.
Our 30% off casual general swim entry for Hapai card holders is also offered to accompanying support persons.
