Overview
Pure Milford takes you deep into the untouched wilderness of Fiordland National Park, helping you discover your own wild place. Piopiotahi / Milford Sound is home to breathtaking wildlife, vast mountain ranges, and thousand-year-old waterfalls. Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee—or treat yourself to a cold beer—as you watch bottlenose dolphins play around the bow, feel the spray from a 151-metre waterfall, and take in some of the most spectacular views in the world. You can choose to drive through Fiordland National Park yourself, take a coach from Queenstown or Te Anau, or even arrive by fixed-wing plane or helicopter. Then, step aboard our beautifully appointed vessel, Gem of the Sound, for a 1 hour and 45-minute cruise through this prehistoric wonderland.

It is not a requirement of being registered with the card to offer a discount. You may see doing so as a way of attracting business from this sector, or as a response to the fact that being a disable person results in higher living costs.
However, if you are a business who charges for entry it is a condition to be registered with the card that 'essential companions' have free entry as they will be responsible for assisting the card holder.
Enter into the box below any discounts, 2 for 1 offers, or any extra concessions for carers.
Details 20% discount for Hāpai Cardholders and accompanying adults on Cruise and Coach tours.

There are quiet areas available on both of our vessels. On the Maiden of Milford, there is a lovely spot on the main deck where you can relax in a bean bag, enjoy the sun, and take in the view through a large window. We often find guests peacefully dozing in the sun in this area. On the Gem of the Sound, there is a peaceful spot on the rear deck outside the café. This area is often overlooked by guests as most head to the upper decks, making it a great place to stand and enjoy the quiet on a fine day.
