Overview
We are an indoor Go-Kart track located in Christchurch City. We have been operating since the 1970s and are proudly NZ owned. We do our very best to include everyone so they can experience the fun of driving and go-kart racing.
Notes for Cardholders
- 10% for a Hapai Cardholder if they have a free companion.
- 20% for a Hapai Cardholder if they don't have a free companion.
Standing and Queuing
If there is a queue, please show your Hāpai card to one of our staff, and you will be moved to the front of the line.
All drivers are required to sign in on our iPads to participate in the race. If this is difficult for you, please come to the ticket office, and we can enter the information on your behalf. You will also need to be eligible to sign our insurance safety waiver.
Level Access
Our building has level access throughout, except for the Grandstand and Staff Office.
The best parking is located in front of the building on Byron Street. If you have difficulty finding a parking spot, please call us at 03 374 9425, and one of our staff members will assist you in finding a nearby space.
Distances
Our building is large; however, there is plenty of seating available throughout, which you are welcome to use. Our private parking is located 20 meters away. We have two onsite car parks available for your use, which can be booked in advance by calling 03 374 9425. Alternatively, you can speak with one of our team members upon arrival, and they will do their best to assist you.
Urgent Toilet Access
We have one accessible toilet, two women's toilets, two men's toilets, and three urinals. If you show us this icon, we will make sure you are next to use the toilet discreetly.
Disability Assist Dogs
We comply with NZ law regarding Disability Assistance Dogs. Our staff will provide water for your dog and guide you to the nearest area where your dog can relieve itself. Simply ask, and we will bring a dish of water for your dog if needed. Although we are located in a heavily built-up area, there is a small garden across the road and a planted bus stop nearby where your dog can relieve itself.

For cardholders with this icon, we are happy to offer a free companion ticket. To book this, please give us a call at 03 374 9425.
Our venue is free to enter for the public; however, payment is required to use the go-karts and arcade games.
Difficulty Accessing Visual Information
Through training, our staff are well-informed about adapting their communication and assisting individuals with low vision or blindness. They can help you with the race options menu, assist you to a seat, and guide you to the restroom if needed.
Difficulty Accessing Audible Information
Through training with the Hāpai Access Card, our staff are knowledgeable about adapting their communication to meet your needs. This includes making sure you can see their face when speaking, speaking clearly, using pen and paper if necessary, and being patient. Our staff are also familiar with the NZ Relay service, so please feel free to use it when calling if needed.
Our busiest times are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, especially when the go-karts are running, which can create a noisy environment. If noise is a concern, we recommend visiting during quieter times—Monday to Thursday from 12 noon to 3 pm. During these hours, you are welcome to bring and wear earmuffs while signing in, watching races, or playing arcade games. Earplugs are also available for use while driving with helmets on.
