Our building has level access throughout, the nearest accessible parking is located around 100m away at the Lichfield Street Car Park - Plymouth Street exit. The store entrance door is automatic and the ground floor is fully accessible. Please note that there is seating available upstairs accessible via a staircase - no lift available. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Our building is on two floors with access to the 1st floor via a staircase. The shop is not big, but there is plenty of seating throughout and outside seats and table that you are welcome to use. Accessible parking is located at the Lichfield Street Car Park which is about 100m away (Plymouth Street entry).
Urgent Toilet Access

We have one accessible toilet on the ground floor. If you present this icon to us we will ensure you are next to use the toilet in a discrete way. There are also toilets at Lichfield Street Car Park about 100m away and at the Terrace car park.
Disability Assist Dogs

We comply with the NZ law with respect to Disability Assistance Dogs. The staff will offer you water for your dog and will indicate the nearest place for the dog to relieve itself. Our shop is dog-friendly.

We do not require payment to enter so your companion is more than welcome, whether they want to purchase something or not.
Difficulty Accessing Visual Information

Through the staff's training with the Hāpai Access Card, they are aware of how they can modify how they communicate with you and how they can assist you. If you are blind or have low vision, our staff members could discuss desserts, drinks, menus, and prices with you. They can also help guide you to a table, the toilet, or around the building.

Through the training that the staff have done with the Hāpai Access Card, they are aware of how they can modify how they communicate with you. This includes making sure you can see their face when speaking, speaking clearly, use of pen and paper and being patient. The staff are aware of the NZ Relay service, so please use this if you think it appropriate when ringing if needed.
