Overview
Te Awamutu Space Centre is a museum and activity centre suitable for all ages. We love sharing our passion for space and astronomy but we're not just for space geeks! Most of our visitors arrive with no real interest in space but end up finding it more interesting and fun than they expected.
The heart of the space centre is the collection of artifacts and memorabilia, along with information displays about space and astronomy. There are many interactive displays, games, toys, puzzles, etc. Every customer gets one turn on the virtual reality. Occasionally, we have telescope viewing.
