The facility entrance and reception area have been designed with wide, accessible pathways to support ease of movement and minimise congestion.

The reception access gate is wheelchair friendly and can be opened remotely by reception staff where required. All pools, with the exception of the leisure pool, provide ramp access with adjacent handrails. The leisure pool provides a gradual beach-style entry designed to support easier access into the water. Two Tuki Pool Chairs (water wheelchairs) are available free of charge and do not require advance booking. These chairs include swing-away armrests, lockable brakes, and adjustable footplates to assist with transfers and pool access. Customers are welcome to bring additional accessibility equipment such as transfer boards, flotation aids, and other personal mobility supports. Several accessible changing facilities are available throughout the facility, including accessible toilets, showers, handrails, emergency assistance buttons, and larger changing spaces. A fully accessible changing room is available and includes a ceiling hoist, height-adjustable change table, accessible toilet, shower facilities, and assistance call buttons. Customers requiring the ceiling hoist must provide their own compatible sling. Crutch holders are available adjacent to the hydrotherapy and 25-metre pools. Mobility aids may also be kept poolside, provided emergency exits and access routes remain clear.

In addition to the designated accessible parks, a number of standard parking spaces are located close to the entrance and are also connected by accessible routes. The facility has been designed to provide straightforward access between key customer areas, including reception, changing rooms, toilets, and pool spaces. Customers are welcome to bring mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches, and mobility scooters to support access throughout their visit. Please ensure emergency egress routes and fire exit doors are kept clear.

Staff aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all customers, recognising that support needs and disabilities are not always visible. Customers are encouraged to share any information that may help staff support their visit; however, they are not required to disclose personal information beyond what they are comfortable sharing. While the facility does not currently provide dedicated low-sensory sessions or spaces, staff can advise on quieter times to visit and provide information about expected activity levels. Public booking schedules are available to help customers plan their visit around programmes, events, and anticipated usage levels.
