Overview
"Nook cafe is a beautiful coffee spot that has developed out of the Habitat for Humanity organisation – partnering with Greg Dyer, who has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Nook celebrates kai, coffee and kin!Proceeds of the cafe go towards funding Habitat for Humanity’s housing programmes aimed at building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. While at Nook, you can also pop into the Restore where you can either shop, donate or volunteer to support your local community.Nook is also partnering with The Buzz to provide upskilling opportunities for rangatahi with learning disabilities and other support needs, helping provide employment pathways. Luckily for them, Greg is available to teach hospitality skills that they can use outside of Nook – what a cause to donate to!So come along and visit Nook Cafe – we’d love to meet you!"
Notes for Cardholders

"Here at Nook, we want all our customers to feel welcome and receive excellent service. We work closely with the disabled community and understand that our disabled customers may face some barriers that we can help them overcome. Your server will have specific training around those barriers and what they can proactively do to make a difference to your visit. We also realise that having a disability often means extra living expenses and not being so flush with cash. Our coffees are all already discounted so please come in and join us for a fresh brew. For those who come into Nook with their essential companion, we will give the essential companion a free coffee."

Essential Companions

We appreciate that not everyone in your group wants to purchase a drink or something to eat. We are good with that, we think they will crack when they see the cabinet and smell those wonderful aromas, but if they have the will power, that’s all good with us.
Difficulty Accessing Visual Information

Your server is more than happy to assist in explaining what we can offer, and they know you may need just a bit of extra time to decide what you want. Remember, if it is easier we can come to you at the table.
Difficulty Accessing Audible Information
